Requests for journal articles, loans, literature searches, training and general queries
Use this service to obtain the information you require for work-related purposes.
Requests for support for external study purposes must have EMHS / SMHS relevance and support will be more limited. Consider using your University Library's services and resources.
All work-related search requests take priority over external study requests. Short deadlines may not be able to be met (depending on workload and available staff).
If you want to request a search to support a systematic review, please consult this page on the Library site first and then contact a Librarian for assistance.
Where your request requires extensive Librarian input leading to a publication, that should be recognised according to the CRediT guidelines - (Contributor Roles Taxonomy - acknowledgement for investigation - evidence collection)
Input typically requires the design, documentation and peer review of comprehensive, complex searches in multiple databases, provision of results in an EndNote Library for screening, and recording search results in a PRISMA Flow Diagram.
Submit all other requests online, track the progress of your requests, and have articles delivered to your desktop (where licence agreements permit).
Library membership is required to use this service. A Registration form may be completed online.
Staff studying at an academic institution are asked to request study-related items from that library.
Check the Journals and eBooks A-Z - you may find what you need is available online. The catalogue shows books held in WA Health libraries.
